Name Update Notice for the CMID 2026
Respected experts, scholars, conference participants and partners,
With the generous support from all sectors, the International Symposium on Clinical Medicine and Intelligent Devices has successfully held four sessions over the past years. Centering on core themes including clinical diagnosis and treatment, and the R&D and application of intelligent medical devices, the symposium has brought together global forces from academia, industry, research and clinical practice, built a high-level platform for academic exchange and achievement transformation, and won wide recognition from the industry.
To accurately align with the development trend of deep integration of intelligent diagnostic technologies and clinical practice, and to better match the core thematic tracks of this symposium—such as Diagnostic and Therapeutic Innovations, Clinical Application of Artificial Intelligence, and Multimodal Treatment—while focusing on key links including intelligent diagnostic algorithm research, clinical validation and device translation, the Organizing Committee has made a prudent decision, following extensive consultation with the Academic Committee experts, to officially rename the symposium as the International Symposium on Clinical Medicine and Intelligent Diagnostics starting from the 5th session.
Key notes regarding this name change are as follows:
1. Symposium abbreviation remains unchanged: The abbreviation of the symposium will still be CMID after the renaming, facilitating recognition and continuation of cooperation across all sectors.
2. Academic purpose and positioning remain consistent: The renaming does not alter the symposium's core mission of "promoting in-depth integration of clinical practice and intelligent technologies, and driving medical innovation and development". The organizational structure, the lineup of the Academic Committee, and the standards for hosting the symposium will all remain stable. Meanwhile, the symposium will further focus on the intelligent diagnostics track to enhance the professionalism and pertinence of its thematic agenda.
3. Full continuity of historical resources: All academic achievements, cooperation networks, participant databases and other resources accumulated from the first four sessions will be fully carried over to the 5th session, ensuring the continuity and authority of the CMID brand.
We sincerely appreciate the long-term trust and support from all sectors for the CMID Symposium! We look forward to working with you to create an academic event that focuses on the forefront of intelligent diagnostics and empowers clinical practice!
