Xianzhe Li

Xianzhe Li, MD, PhD (Heidelberg University and German Cancer Research Center, Germany). He currently serves as President of the Association of Chinese Medical Doctors and Scholars in Germany, Deputy Secretary-General of the China-Europe Scientists Forum, Initiator of the China-Europe Health Intelligence Network (under preparation), Deputy Secretary-General of the Sun Yat-sen University Alumni Association in Germany, and a founding member of the first committee of the German College of Cancer Prevention (CPGS). His main research focuses on biomarkers for early screening of colorectal cancer and the mechanisms of stem cell therapy for inflammatory bowel disease. He has published 25 SCI-indexed papers in total (including 5 as first author and 9 as co-corresponding/co-first author), with a cumulative impact factor of approximately 150. His findings have been published in internationally authoritative journals such as Mol Cancer, J Transl Med, Int Immunopharmacol, and Int J Cancer. He has also published 3 papers in Chinese core journals. He serves as a reviewer for nearly 10 SCI journals and as an editorial board member of 1 English-language journal. He has participated in 6 national and provincial research projects.
