China-Europe Scientists Forum & CMID2024 has been successfully held in Frankfurt Germany during October 20-21, 2024

The first China-Europe Scientists Forum was successfully held in Frankfurt, Germany during October 20-21, 2024. The forum attracted more than 200 scientists and researchers from the fields of artificial intelligence, biomedicine, construction design, low-carbon new energy, etc., and more than 50,000 viewers watched the event through the online live broadcast platform.

As the Clinical Diagnosis and Translational Medicine Sub-forum of the China-Europe Scientists Forum (CESF), the 3rd International Symposium on Clinical Medicine and Intelligent Devices (CMID2024) focused on the latest progress in clinical diagnosis and translational medicine, the challenges and opportunities of translational medicine, and the future development of personalized medicine. Experts and scholars from all over the world engaged in related research conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on a number of topics including biomedicine, precision medicine, neurosteroids, intestinal flora, collagen sarcoma, etc.

The opening ceremony of this conference was co-chaired by Prof. Shixin Ye-Lehmann, Professor of University Paris-Saclay and Academician of the Bolivian National Academy of Sciences, and Dr. Changting Li, Association Sino-Francaise pour la Recherche et le Development sur les Aliments Sains, who introduced the achievements of previous conferences and the preparations for this conference, welcomed scholars from all over the world to share their research results, and thanked all the experts, scholars and supporting units for their support and help for the conference.

Prof. Ludger Johannes, Research Director, INSERM, Institute Curie, France and Member of German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, delivered a speech on Biomedical Discovery of the Road to Sugar.

Prof. Sergey V. Suchkov from The Russian University of Medicine, Russia, delivered a speech on Personalized and Precision Medicine (PPM).

Prof. Nandini Vasudevan from University Reading, UK, delivered a speech on Neurosteroids and Their Effect on the Brain.

Dr. Zhe Zeng, Head of R&D of Department of Danone Group in the Netherlands, France, delivered a speech on Nutritional Strategies to Rebalance the Imbalanced Gut Microbiota in Infants.

Prof. Lianyi Han, Senior Researcher of Greater Bay Area Institute of Precision Medicine, delivered a speech on Clinically Validated Disease Identification in Pediatric Capsule Endoscopy Using an Advanced Convolutional Algorithm.

The Round table Discussion was hosted by Dr. Changting Li. Experts and Scholars including Ludger Johannes, Uwe G. Splittdorf, Zhe Zeng, Lianyi Han and Nandini Vasudevan had an in-depth discussion on "The Current Status and Future Prospects of Translational Medicine" and jointly explored the latest progress and future development trends in the field of translational medicine.

Prof. Wei Wu from Jilin University, China, delivered a speech on Mechanistic Study and Engineering of the Next Generation CAR-T Cells.

Prof. Zefeng Wang, professor of Huzhou University, China and Dr. Yifei Peng, PhD student in joint training between Huzhou University, China and University of Lille, France, delivered a speech on Research on the Prevention and Treatment of Colorectal Cancer through the Integration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.

Dr. Ziwei Song, Director of Seventh Medical Center, General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, China, delivered a speech on An Introduction to the Use of Cyanocoumarins in Chronic Wasting Diseases and Tumors with Low Fever.

Through these wonderful speeches and in-depth discussions, participants gained a deeper understanding of the latest advances in clinical diagnosis and treatment and translational medicine, and laid a solid foundation for future medical research and international cooperation.

During the conference, many scholars posted academic posters on site to display the latest research results, which promoted academic exchanges and discussions among participants.
The International Symposium on Clinical Medicine and Intelligent Devices will continue to provide a high-level learning and communication platform for experts, scholars, and industry representatives from the fields of global healthcare, life sciences, clinical medicine, and intelligent devices to jointly discuss cutting-edge issues in related fields, so as to promote the integrated development of life sciences, clinical medicine, and intelligent devices, and promote the internationalization of industry-university-research cooperation.
